Head of Monetization

100% Remote

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Monetization to maximize the revenue generated from every lead entering our consumer acquisition ecosystem. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on increasing revenue per lead by identifying new monetization opportunities, optimizing lead distribution strategies, and developing scalable revenue streams across multiple consumer verticals, including mortgage, debt relief, legal, insurance, and home services.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building and executing lead monetization strategies within a high-volume lead generation or marketplace business. This is an execution-oriented role for someone who has successfully implemented monetization programs and can make an immediate business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue per lead across multiple business verticals.
  • Identify and launch new monetization opportunities through cross-sell, upsell, and secondary buyer programs.
  • Build and manage relationships with buyers and strategic partners across multiple industries.
  • Design and optimize lead routing and allocation strategies to maximize revenue and conversion.
  • Develop and implement email, SMS, and data monetization initiatives.
  • Create data enrichment strategies to improve lead value and buyer performance.
  • Analyze monetization performance and develop reporting to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, Product, Technology, and Analytics teams to improve lead quality and monetization outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate new revenue channels and scalable monetization opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience building and executing lead monetization strategies within a consumer lead generation, marketplace, affiliate marketing, or digital performance marketing environment.
  • Demonstrated success increasing revenue per lead and developing new revenue streams.
  • Strong understanding of lead routing, buyer allocation, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization.
  • Experience developing cross-sell, upsell, email, SMS, and data monetization programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate performance data and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with lead buyers, strategic partners, and revenue-generating clients.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across business, technology, marketing, and operations teams.

  • Target Compensation Range:
  • Base Salary: $140,000 - $220,000
  • Performance Bonus: 10% - 50% of base salary
