The Legal Operations Professional supports theDePuy SynthesLegalOrganization byenablingsystems,processesand technologytools tooperationalizevendor invoicing and payment, matter management, training and learning resources,communications,knowledgemanagementand document archives.This roleworks closely with attorneys, paralegals,other legal professionalassociatesand Information Technology and Finance functionsto support operationaleffectivenessof the Legal Organization. The position plays a key role in improving howthe Legal Organization delivers servicesandhow it uses technology to increase output and enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Support daytoday legal operations activities, including matter intake, tracking, and reporting.
Assistwith legal vendor and outside counsel coordination, including onboarding, documentation, and performance tracking.
Maintainand support legal systems, databases, and tools to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and analyses to support legal leadership decisionmaking.
Assistin the development and documentation of legal processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
Support budgeting, invoice review, and financial tracking activities for the Legal function.
Collaborate with crossfunctional partners (e.g., Finance, Compliance, Procurement, IT) on legal operations initiatives.
Uphold Johnson & Johnson's Credo and apply ethical business practices in all interactions.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degreerequired(Business, Legal Studies, Finance, Operations, or related field).

Experience and Skills

Required:
2-4 years of professional experience in legal operations, legal support, business operations,project or office managementora relatedfunction.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.

Preferred:
Experiencein a private law firm,supporting a Legal department or working with legal matter management systems.
Exposure to legal billing, budgeting, or vendor management processes.
Familiarity with process improvement or continuous improvement methodologies.
Comfort working with data, reports, and dashboards.
