Job Opportunity: Director of Sales and Business Development with Formative 3D in Falls Church, VAAre you skilled at building long‑term, consultative client relationships that deliver repeat business? As the Director of Sales & Business Development you will lead revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and establish a strong presence in the commercial interiors market. This role is ideal for a strategic, execution‑focused leader who delivers measurable results while providing exceptional client service across the full client journey.

Salary range: $150k - $175k depending on knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales and business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration within commercial furniture and interiors.
  • Build and maintain long‑term client relationships through a high‑touch, consultative approach that drives repeat business.
  • Identify, prioritize, and secure new opportunities with corporate clients, architects, designers, dealers, and real estate developers.
  • Position the company as a differentiated leader in additive manufacturing and customized furniture solutions.
  • Own revenue targets, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics.
  • Lead complex sales cycles including presentations, proposals, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to align client needs with product capabilities, timelines, and cost targets.

Qualifications:
