Architectural Design Coordinator
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid: 3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote + 1/2 Day Fridays every week)

Are you passionate about architecture, space planning, and transforming existing spaces into modern, functional environments? We're seeking an Architectural Design Coordinator to join a team supporting a large-scale national modernization program involving commercial facilities across North America.

What You'll Do
As part of a collaborative design team, you'll help bring new life to existing facilities through architectural review, space planning, and design coordination. You'll work closely with project managers, architects, and external design firms to ensure plans align with established brand and design standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review and mark up architectural drawings using Bluebeam Revu
- Redline and coordinate floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction documents
- Support nationwide renovation and modernization projects for existing commercial facilities
- Analyze customer and employee traffic flow to improve functionality and space utilization
- Assist with facility layout planning, equipment placement, and interior space optimization
- Review drawings, signage packages, and branding elements for compliance with established design standards
- Coordinate revisions with outside architecture and engineering firms
- Track drawing updates and changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Support project managers by reviewing technical documents and assisting with design coordination
- Work extensively with PDF-based construction documents and plan sets
- Contribute to architectural detailing, facility planning, and space planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field
- Experience using Bluebeam Revu through coursework, studio projects, internships, or professional experience
- Understanding of architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Exposure to AutoCAD through school, internships, or professional work
- Experience reviewing, marking up, or redlining technical drawings
- Interest in facility planning, commercial architecture, and renovation projects
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
