  • Direct all operational processes in alignment with the firm's strategic profitability and growth plans.
  • Focus operational processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and quality in project delivery while maintaining a strong focus on profitability.
  • Create and manage operating budgets, track key financial metrics (e.g., staff utilization, direct labor multipliers, and overhead), and ensure alignment with firm financial goals.
  • Lead project and financial reviews to monitor performance, identify risks, and implement tactical strategies for improvement.
  • Conduct and oversee monthly Practice Leader and Business group director reviews to evaluate operational performance and progress towards fiscal year goals.
  • Assist in Quarterly Business Review meetings by preparing data, trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Review Project Performance Metrics across all business groups to assess project performance.
  • Monitor firm wide direct labor ratio as well as firm growth/loss metrics for each business group.
  • Mentor and guide team members to support professional development, leadership growth, and a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Lead assigned key firm wide initiatives to improve processes, procedures, and our performance.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 15+ years' experience in Engineering and operations leadership
  • Professional License (PE)
