Associate Director of Infrastructure Operations Washington, DC Position Overview The Associate Director of Infrastructure Operations plays a key leadership role in supporting and modernizing MCC's enterprise IT infrastructure. This position partners closely with the Director of Infrastructure Operations to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of network, server, and telecommunications systems while driving continuous improvement and innovation. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of enterprise infrastructure, including network, server, and telecommunications systems
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT services across the organization
  • Define and implement infrastructure solutions across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments
  • Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives and adoption of emerging technologies
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resource requirements for IT initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, CISA) and support audit readiness
  • Manage IT vendors and contracts, ensuring performance and alignment with organizational goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver scalable, secure solutions
  • Provide technical guidance on system architecture, integration, and infrastructure strategy
