Position Data Strategy Integration Expert

We are seeking an experienced Data Strategy Integration Expert to support the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for integrating data strategy across data science, development, and subject matter expert teams. The role requires documentation and implementation of data strategies, ensuring data quality standards, and program data alignment with relevant IC policies and DNI instructions, especially ICD 504 and instruction 95.01. The candidate will monitor progress against established data goals and provide data governance information to senior leadership in various formats.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate data strategy across data science, development, and subject matter expert teams.
  • Document and implement data strategy, ensuring adherence to data quality standards and alignment with all relevant IC policies and DNI instructions, particularly ICD 504 and instruction 95.01.
  • Monitor and track progress against established data goals.
  • Prepare and present data governance information in a variety of formats to support senior leadership briefings and reports.
  • Ensure proper policies are in place to enforce best data security practices and data access control standards across the program.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data strategies are effectively communicated and implemented.
  • Work comfortably in a mission-oriented, fast-paced environment with senior-level customers.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship on data governance and data strategy best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data strategy integration, data governance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in documenting and implementing data strategies and data quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of IC policies and DNI instructions, especially ICD 504 and instruction 95.01.
  • Experience preparing and presenting data governance information to senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of data security practices and data access control standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present findings.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is required.
  • Experience working within the Intelligence Community (IC) or other government agencies.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior-level customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience with data governance tools and technologies.
