Job description

Flexjet, an award-winning organization that specializes in high end private jet travel, is seeking an experienced Flight Operations Supervisor to join our team! Flexjet currently operates over 270 aircraft with over 1,600 pilots located in 150 domiciles traveling both domestically and internationally! This position will be responsible for assisting with the daily management and support of the Company's crewmembers, its fleet, and the operation. The Flight Operations Supervisor will report directly to the Chief Pilot and requires the individual to reside in Cleveland, OH.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the daily management Flexjet Aircraft and all of its designated flight crews
Manage and support line crewmembers
Review aircraft performance calculations
Support the Owners Services Department and the Sales Department as a technical resource
Engage in proactive management of flight operations in conjunction with the Operational Control Center
Work in conjunction with Assistant Chief Pilots in the development, implementation, and crew adherence to the company and aircraft specific Standard Operation Procedures (SOP)
Assist with the development and maintenance of standard aircraft checklists
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Flight Operations Supervisor is responsible for conducting crew interviews and providing hiring recommendations; monitoring the assigned crewmembers training and checking events; monitoring crew performance and making recommendations for upgrades or recommendations for additional or remedial training; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree, in business or an aviation related field preferred; 2-4 years experience within an aviation environment; 2-4 years of supervisory experience; equivalent combination of education and experience
Have a strong understanding of FARs in regard to Part 91, 121, or 135 airline operations
Must be an ATP rated pilot
The position requires a high degree of knowledge and understanding of the Company including Standard Operating Procedures, the Flight Operations Manual, and the Code of Federal Regulations applicable to Company operations
REQUIRED SKILLS
Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills are required
Candidate should work well and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business
Must be detail oriented, highly self-motivated, and able to work productively independently or within a team
Proficiency with Microsoft software applications and the aptitude to learn company specific software
Proven leadership skills and positive demeanor to work effectively within the flight department and with other departments
The Flight Operations Supervisor will be required to work a flexible schedule to include night and weekend duties #LI-MM1
