Summary:
The Associate Director of Development Communications works directly with Foundation staff to support fundraising and stewardship efforts through a broad range of communications strategies. Duties include thoughtful communication with donors, prospects, patients, clinical staff, and hospital and health system leadership; utilizing the Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine's database system (JHAS); providing written and oral communications to various internal and external constituents on behalf of Gift Officers; routinely updating departmental proposals and materials; drafting clinician and leadership acknowledgements on behalf of the Directors of Development; managing the creation, installation, and tracking of all donor recognition plaques and signage; generating the Foundation's monthly E-Newsletter and social media content; composing impactful donor stories; and more.
Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-4 years of development or administrative experience.
  • High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Experience in healthcare environment a plus.

Salary Range: Minimum 36.38/hour - Maximum 60.03/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
