Job description

The Director, Product Commercialization for Merchant Services owns end to end go to market strategy and execution, translating product capabilities into clear, compelling market offerings that drive measurable revenue growth. This role leads cross functional GTM orchestration across Product, Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Digital/.com, and external partners, with accountability for packaging, pricing, launch execution, enablement, and expansion within the existing customer base. Serving as the hands on product marketing leader, the role personally develops launch plans, sales enablement materials, customer messaging, and business cases, while acting as the connective tissue between Product and Commercial teams. Additionally, this leader builds the commercialization function from the ground up by establishing processes, frameworks, and standards that define what great commercialization looks like and enable future scale.

The Director, Product Commercialization owns and leads the endtoend gotomarket strategy for Merchant Services products by translating product capabilities into clear, differentiated market offerings and orchestrating crossfunctional execution across Product, Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Digital/.com, and external partners to ensure successful launches, adoption, and commercial impact.

The role drives sustainable revenue growth by improving attach rates, conversion, and crosssell through effective packaging, pricing, launch execution, and enablement, while identifying expansion opportunities within the existing customer base and partnering with Sales and Revenue Operations to ensure gotomarket strategies are measurable, repeatable, and scalable.

You will lead product marketing and enablement for Merchant Services by developing and executing launch plans, playbooks, sales enablement materials, and customerfacing messaging, while personally building decks, business cases, and alignment tools to ensure strong positioning, sales readiness, and internal alignment through a handson, builderled approach.

The role leads and aligns internal teams and external partners by directing agencies, creative, and digital teams to execute integrated gotomarket programs, collaborating closely with .com and digital teams, and serving as the connective link between Product and Commercial teams to ensure innovative solutions successfully translate into market impact.

Establish and institutionalize the product commercialization capability by creating new processes, frameworks, and operating norms where none currently exist, defining clear standards for what "great" commercialization looks like for Deluxe Merchant Services, and building the foundational structure required to support scale and future team growth.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar
  • 7 years' experience in product commercialization, marketing and go-to market execution
  • Experience serving SMB and midmarket customers, including through banks and ISV partnerships
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred
  • Merchant services, payments, fintech, or B2B SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Strong track record driving revenue impactthrough GTM strategy, crosssell, and product adoption
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Productteams
