What does a successful Senior Director, Commercialization do at Fiserv?

At Fiserv, our industry-leading Financial Institution (FI) partnership program is the cornerstone of our Merchant Solutions business. We are dedicated to equipping our partners with the premier products and capabilities necessary to dominate the marketplace.

As the Senior Director of Commercialization - Strategic Bank Partnerships, you will spearhead the strategy and execution for a portfolio of Fiserv's top-tier FI partners. This pivotal role oversees approximately 10 of our most significant bank relationships and serves as a primary architect in expanding our support model from North America into EMEA and APAC. You will be responsible for bringing our Merchant Solutions-including Clover and Enterprise offerings-to market through deep, collaborative integration with bank stakeholders.

What you will do:

  • Portfolio Ownership: Lead end-to-end commercialization and growth strategy for ~10 marquee FI partners, focusing on expanding "share of wallet" and unlocking new use cases.

  • Joint Go-to-Market (GTM): Architect bespoke GTM strategies tailored to partner-specific segments, priorities, and customer bases.

  • Executive Influence: Establish trust-based relationships across partner executive, product, and operations teams, leading high-stakes engagements like QBRs and strategic planning.

  • Full-Suite Scaling: Drive the adoption of Clover, SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise solutions across the partner portfolio.

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all offerings meet rigorous partner standards for risk, technology, and customer experience while driving launch readiness and enablement.

  • Performance Optimization: Proactively identify performance gaps and lead cross-functional problem-solving to accelerate revenue growth.

  • Voice of the Partner: Act as the primary internal advocate, aligning Product, Tech, and Risk teams with partner requirements and execution plans.

  • Matrix Coordination: Orchestrate seamless internal delivery to meet complex partner commitments and ensure long-term scalability.

What you will need to have:

  • 10+ yrs of experience in strategy, commercialization, payments, or financial services

  • Experience working with or within financial institutions and/or merchant acquiring

  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex partnerships or client portfolios

  • Bachelor's Degree Required; MBA preferred.

What would be nice to have:

  • Background in merchant services and/or strategic partnerships

  • Proven experience in identifying clients' needs, formulating plans, and executing plans through resolution

  • Strong program and issue management skills

  • Process optimization, change transformation through multiple levers

  • Well-developed problem analysis and decision-making skills, strong written/verbal

Travel:

  • Approximately 20-40% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.

Salary Range

$155,000.00 - $258,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
