Role Summary
We are seeking a passionate and strategic Director of Client Success to lead our rapidly expanding Intelligence Community account. This role will oversee a portfolio of high-impact contracts, led by senior program managers, that help our clients adopt cutting-edge technology, operationalize innovation, and achieve mission outcomes faster and more effectively. You will lead a team as well as roll up your sleeves to execute on day-to-day client delivery. You will be accountable for achieving and exceeding client outcomes, driving measurable mission impact, and growing your account. You will build trusted relationships with senior IC leaders, anticipate emerging needs, and help them think differently to challenge the status quo.
Salary range: $133,500 - $176,000 plus bi-annual bonuses
Eligibility for clearance is required. TS/SCI is strongly preferred.
This role is local to the DMV.
Key Responsibilities
Client Success
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships across IC organizations to identify opportunities for mission impact and long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Intelligence Community mission priorities, operational challenges, technology roadmaps, and evolving national security requirements.
  • Navigate complex classified environments while aligning commercial technology solutions with mission needs and security requirements.
  • Provide creative, novel perspectives and approaches to how the government operates in the areas of policy, acquisitions, finance, culture, and processes, in order to drive innovation and agility inside their missions.
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data/metrics to help clients solve their toughest problems and identify outcomes and Return On Investment (ROI)
  • Work with operational stakeholders to define capability gaps, mission needs, and desired outcomes.
  • Accelerate rapid capability development and delivery of mission capabilities by reducing bureaucratic barriers, streamlining decision-making, and shortening acquisition timelines.
  • Establish repeatable processes that enable faster delivery of emerging technologies into operational use.
Business Growth
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies that expand Dcode's presence across Intelligence Community agencies.
  • Identify, qualify, and help capture new opportunities
  • Partner with Business Development and Capture teams to develop account plans, competitive positioning, win strategies, and proposal support for strategic opportunities.
  • Leverage executive relationships to identify emerging mission needs and expand Dcode's portfolio within Intelligence Community clients.
Contract Management
  • Ensure all client engagements are executed in accordance with Intelligence Community security policies, contractual requirements, and applicable federal regulations.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, workflows, and performance metrics
  • Coordinate with program leadership to ensure appropriate cleared staffing and resource planning for classified and sensitive client engagements.
  • Manage delivery across multiple classified and unclassified engagements while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, mission success, and target gross margins.
Leadership
  • Serve as a strategic leader for Dcode's Intelligence Community portfolio by identifying market trends, mission priorities, and emerging technology opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop direct reports and junior team members supporting Intelligence Community contracts, promoting excellence in client engagement and delivery, and strengthening the team's ability to operate in high-tempo, complex environments.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture across the account.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community in program management, client delivery, business development, or mission support.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, multi-stakeholder programs with measurable mission outcomes and building executive-level relationships across one or more Intelligence Community agencies.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar federal contracts and delivering mission-critical programs.
  • Strong understanding of Intelligence Community acquisition processes, security requirements, and technology modernization initiatives.
  • Skilled in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to drive strategic recommendations and improvements.
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated first hand experience in moving a capability from concept to operational deployment.
  • Executive presence and excellent written and verbal communication skills
