Job Description

  • Lead and direct overall field operations for assigned offices, regions, or business units to ensure safe, consistent, and profitable project execution.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, standards, and processes that improve performance, accountability, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to field supervisors, technicians, project leads, and operations support personnel.
  • Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure qualified personnel and equipment are available to support project demands.
  • Ensure projects are executed in accordance with company standards, contractual requirements, NETA expectations, applicable safety requirements, budget targets, and project schedules.
  • Partner with management and project teams to monitor project progress, labor utilization, change orders, cost performance, reporting status, and client communication.
  • Establish expectations for timely project kickoff, scope confirmation, scheduling coordination, site access planning, and written follow-up with clients and trade partners.
  • Drive a strong safety culture by ensuring Pre-Task Plans, Job Hazard Analysis checklists, vehicle inspections, field office safety requirements, and site documentation are completed and maintained.
  • Ensure test equipment, tools, fleet assets, and field resources are properly maintained, inspected, repaired, replaced, and assigned to support operational needs.
  • Support financial performance by reviewing project progress, labor efficiency, invoicing inputs, budget variances, and opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with sales and client-facing teams to identify operational risks, resolve client concerns, support pull-through work, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Ensure final reports, project data, documentation, and closeout requirements are completed accurately, submitted on time, and stored in the appropriate company systems.
  • Lead employee development efforts including training plans, performance feedback, evaluations, succession planning, and corrective action recommendations when appropriate.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention efforts to build a qualified and scalable operations team.
  • Report operational performance, resource needs, business risks, and improvement opportunities to executive leadership and recommend actions to support company growth.

Qualifications

Experience in a Data Center environment highly preferred

NETA level 3 or 4 certification highly preferred
