What you'll do:

As a Senior Operations Business Analyst, you'll lead and oversee a full range of strategic activities to ensure operational effectiveness and accurate data collection within banking systems and processes. You'll provide senior-level expertise to drive initiatives focused on reimagining operational processes by designing and implementing complex technical solutions that support internal business units across the enterprise. Working with cross-operational teams, you'll develop deep understanding of current and future processes, create intuitive user-friendly designs, mentor junior analysts, and manage these solutions through development, testing and delivery. Key responsibilities include leading project management efforts, collaborating with senior stakeholders to develop effective process solutions, and defining business requirements for enterprise-wide initiatives. In this role, you must think strategically, demonstrate leadership and independent resourcefulness, take ownership of complex projects, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels including executive leadership. This includes being flexible and a resourceful team player with a "get it done" attitude capable of thriving in fast-paced environments.
  • Lead design of products and features, enhance user experience, and ensure data availability to improve banking processes across multiple business units.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams and senior leadership throughout the Bank to design and integrate complex processes spanning multiple systems.
  • Lead and prioritize team initiatives, manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, drive iterative improvements, and address tech-debt strategically.
  • Partner with teams, managers, and executives to develop data-driven solution designs, while documenting process improvement needs and presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • Summarize, track, train and communicate updates and changes to end users; develop training materials and lead change management initiatives.
  • Lead the analysis, resolution, and correction of complex design or solution issues while communicating impacts and timelines to affected users and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate enterprise-level project planning, develop comprehensive business and reporting requirements, lead application testing, and ensure successful application deployment.
  • Mentor and guide junior Operations Business Analysts in best practices and professional development.

What you'll need:

  • 7+ years of related experience in Branch Banking Operations, Commercial Lending, Data Management, Process Improvement or System Design., Branch Banking Operations, Commercial Lending, Data Management, Process Improvement or System Design. or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, Power BI, and SQL. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio/Lucid, and ADO.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in project management methodologies, and ability to prioritize multiple projects and objectives in a rapidly changing environment; proven track record of leading enterprise wide process improvement initiatives.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of organization and attention to detail, with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to manage competing priorities, demonstrating flexibility, resourcefulness, and a collaborative approach in fast-paced environments.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Occasional travel required.
