The Technology and Transformation Technology Business Services group is pleased to announce an opportunity to join the group as an Application Development Team Lead leading the Fisher Investments Institutional Group (FIIG) Technology team.

The Opportunity:

The FIIG Technology team identifies, implements, and supports software solutions. These solutions allow FIIG business groups to perform their jobs, gain insight into their own processes and clients, and solve the problems they encounter while supporting their clients' goals. We are building reliable, scalable, consistent systems to securely deliver meaningful data, while adhering to guidelines that comply with company and regulatory data handling practices.

The Application Development Team Lead will work with many types of partners to understand opportunities, architect solutions, and then deliver and support the working applications. You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery by the FIIG Technology development team and consulting partners. You will report to the Group Vice President, Technology Business Services.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Collaborate with business users, technology leaders, and other partners to understand our priorities and translate them into relevant engineering roadmaps that use existing and new technology
  • Ensure robust, scalable, secure, and compliant architecture of sales, onboarding, and servicing software used to support institutional clients
  • Set and execute a strategy for sales, onboarding, servicing, and data solutions with a focus on enhancing end-user experience through self-service solutions, speed of delivery, and high-quality results
  • Prioritize work requests to meet business desires and needs by assigning staff and overseeing delivery
  • Lead the implementation of technical solutions focused on providing information and KPIs
  • Promote process maturity for software development and support
  • Define key metrics and KPIs demonstrating efficient and effective use and consumption of the application portfolio
  • Partner with application, infrastructure, and information security teams to fulfill needs of the assigned business group
  • Reduce risk to our organization by implementing governance and security controls in partnership with the Enterprise Risk Management, Data Privacy Office, Legal & Compliance Departments, Information Security, and related teams
  • Manage the team, including hiring and development, reviews, and terminations of a team of up to 10 employees

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with software solutions for sales, servicing, and data
  • Experience eliciting and representing a business group's technology needs through requirements, project management, and software delivery
  • Demonstrated experience driving technology innovation, developing and accomplishing technology roadmaps, and delivering measurable improvements
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, from strategy to development, deployment, and support
  • Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
  • Experience with cloud hosted systems and APIs, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or similar
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience

Compensation:

  • $150,000 - $210,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
