Purpose of Role

The Sr. Allocation Planner - BH Apparel is responsible for AMERICAS BRAND HOUSE Allocation, delivering on revenue for retail locations by managing in-season store inventory levels and maintaining in-stock by article/color/size on-hand in stores at assigned scope. This role collaborates with direct-toconsumer leadership, channel planning, store operations and channel merchandising teams to develop and execute the allocation plan and drive the business sales and margin plan while supporting the brand vision in stores.

Your Impact

Optimize inventory by identifying in-season opportunities and managing trends.
Plan and execute floorsets collaborating cross-functionally for floorset activities.
Coordinate product distribution by executing new product assortments.
Manage replenishment by maintaining stock-to-sales ratios.
Analyze inventory by supporting inventory chase opportunities.
Create reports by analyzing sales trends and drive business forward.
React to selling trends by proposing actionable plans.
Communicate effectively by sharing information and solutions.
Lead size management by overseeing size selling and analysis.
Initiate & recommend improvements and enhancing allocation and replenishment procedures to elevate the brand.
Manage new store allocations overseeing assortments and replenishment.
Monitor inventory levels and address out-of-stock issues.
Monitor deliveries and communicate issues impacting floorsets.
Resolve system issues partnering with IT for resolutions.
Participate in planning by developing and presenting allocation strategies.
Build relationships and manage partnerships with retail field leaders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with typically 4 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience OR typically 8 years of relevant experience without degree
3+ years of experience in Allocation, Planning or a related role.
Experience in the apparel or footwear industry is preferred.
Experience in executing successful Allocation strategies.
Understanding of Allocation, with exposure to retail math and elements of inventory productivity measures (WOH, S/T, Builds)
Ability to interpret data and assist in shaping business narratives (story telling), providing support for decision-making processes by contributing data-driven insights.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate key data findings to non-technical teams, with guidance, ensuring alignment with broader business goals
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver results within timelines with accuracy and a strong sense of urgency.
Self-starter, creative, enthusiastic, innovative, and collaborative attitude
Develop skills in identifying problems and working with analytics tools to support basic
refinement of recommendations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work within a team and support allocation & planning initiatives.
Solid experience with data analysis & visualization tools for reporting and insights, with experience in allocation systems or similar planning tools.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Base Compensation

 $75,000.00-$100,000.00 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
