Job description

Job Summary:
Hines is a leading global real estate investment manager recognized for innovation and excellence. The Lead Analyst, Real Estate Technology Infrastructure - Operations is responsible for executing the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and support of technology infrastructure solutions across property portfolios, ensuring operational reliability and security.
Responsibilities:
• Execute the deployment, configuration, validation, and support of enterprise network and infrastructure standards across corporate and property environments, including wireless, switching, firewalls, and site connectivity.
• Lifecycle Execution: Support the end-to-end implementation of technology infrastructure for new developments and major capital improvement projects as directed through established project management processes.
• Execute infrastructure scope for new property onboardings, acquisitions, and management services engagements, including ISP coordination, circuit turn-up support, and technology transitions.
• Configure and support network, firewall, wireless, and related infrastructure components in accordance with approved architecture, standards, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, integrators, and service providers to manage implementation tasks, lead times, issue resolution, and delivery risks across active deployments.
• Review low-voltage drawings, technical specifications, and as-built documentation to support accurate implementation and alignment with architectural standards and operational requirements.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, configuration changes, firmware updates, device reviews, and remote support activities using secure access tooling.
• Monitor infrastructure environments, analyze alerts and event data, identify root causes, and initiate remediation actions to maintain service reliability and operational stability.
• Cross-Functional Support: Partner with Technology, Management Services, Engineering, and Construction teams to execute project deliverables and resolve field-level constraints without impacting delivery timelines.
• Serve as a lead technical resource for complex or high-impact infrastructure and network issues requiring hands-on analysis, disciplined troubleshooting, and timely escalation.
• Apply security and risk considerations during deployment and operations, including firewall rule implementation, redundancy support, failover validation, and secure remote administration practices.
• Compliance & Risk: Ensure all OT deployments and operational activities comply with local regulations and company cybersecurity policies.
• Support infrastructure requirements for physical security systems, building automation systems, and other safety-critical environments.
• Maintain site-level and portfolio-level visibility into infrastructure deployments, system readiness, remediation activity, and transition status using enterprise service and project management tools.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation, inventories, configuration records, and support notes are maintained to enable audits, investigations, incident response, and ongoing operations.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution preferred or equivalent years of direct experience required.
• 7–10 years of experience in OT infrastructure, enterprise networking, or technology operations, preferably within real estate, construction, or other distributed environment sectors.
• Hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure, network operations, or technology support across multi-site or distributed environments.
• Practical experience leveraging AI tooling to realize insight and efficiency.
• Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting enterprise network and wireless environments, including firewalls, VPNs, switching, redundancy, and failover models.
• Experience monitoring infrastructure environments, analyzing alerts, troubleshooting incidents, and driving remediation activities in operational scenarios.
• Strong working knowledge of vendor and ISP coordination, technical execution, and service delivery support.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document technical work and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to provide hands-on technical support while maintaining strong ownership, accountability, and communication practices.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, and high-pressure environments with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong working knowledge of OT/IT networking inc. converged networks, and typical connected building systems (i.e., BAS, BMS, ACS, CCTV).
• Base competency of modern building systems & 'smart' infrastructure.
• Strong working knowledge of OT/IT cybersecurity frameworks, principles, and strategies.
• Strong cross-functional coordination, technical execution, and stakeholder management.
• The nature of this role will require occasional work outside of Houston business hours to support escalations, deployments, or critical activities in other regions.
• Domestic and international travel will be required (up to 40% of the time) in support of key projects or sites.
Preferred:
• Experience supporting construction projects, property portfolios, or multi-site environments with active renovations, transitions, or onsite implementation activities preferred.
• Project Management: Proficiency with tools like Procore, Bluebeam Revu, Jira, or Smartsheet is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of wireless technologies (i.e., DAS, managed Wi-Fi) preferred.
• Network/communications certifications (i.e., CCNA, CCNP, CWNA) preferred.
