North Point Technology is looking to hire a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design and automate cloud infrastructure across AWS GovCloud and ADC (C2S/SC2S) isolated regions. The qualified candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance and will build Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and secure networking within air-gapped, classified enclaves. The ideal candidate combines deep AWS and DevOps expertise with hands-on experience automating hardening and compliance in a DoD/IC environment.
Responsibilities:
This position centers on designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform within ADC and GovCloud isolated regions. The architect will build CI/CD pipelines in air-gapped environments with approval gates and change management, and design the underlying network architecture - multi-account landing zones, Transit Gateway networking, and hybrid connectivity via Direct Connect and VPN - within classified enclaves. Additional work includes automating patching, AMI hardening, drift detection, and STIG/CIS compliance enforcement, and implementing observability and logging strategies that meet audit and records retention requirements.
Required Skills/Experience:
