Job description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, formulate and coordinate various long- and short-term engineering projects designed to improve the quality and performance of products and to reduce cost, waste and delays in operation.  The selected candidate will work closely with our Supply Chain, Automation and Operations teams.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and implement continuous improvements activities to improve key performance indicators (contribution, on-time, cost of quality, incident rate, net efficiency, safety, ect)
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes and equipment to support new or modified products.
  • Supervise/assist in the development of non-standard products.
  • Evaluate new and existing processes and equipment for improvements.
  • Understand financial performance and its connection to specific activities.
  • Plan and coordinate new product introductions and product enhancements to meet project margins, costs and introduction dates.
  • Direct internal and external resources to resolve field or quality concerns.
  • Serve as the primary engineering contact for assigned product lines, ensuring production meets quality, efficiency, and delivery targets.

 

What you Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Engineering or related field
  • Preferred 3 to 5 years of relatable work experience in engineering or manufacturing
  • Experience with Experience in a BPCS or MRPII manufacturing system
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement principles
