As a trusted Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), we deliver white‑glove cybersecurity services that help organizations protect their environments, meet regulatory requirements, and stay ahead of evolving threats.

In this role, you will deploy, maintain, and support cybersecurity technologies while working closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC), MSP Operations, Compliance, Engineering, and Customer Success teams. You will help customers strengthen their security posture through proactive operations, technical expertise, and exceptional customer service.

At ISI Defense, we value teamwork, ownership, continuous learning, and a customer-first mindset. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity, enjoys solving technical challenges, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity solutions across customer environments.
  • Support endpoint, identity, email, cloud, and security monitoring technologies.
  • Investigate and resolve security‑related issues and service requests, escalating when appropriate.
  • Perform security hardening, system configuration, patching, and vulnerability remediation activities.
  • Assist with onboarding new customers and implementing cybersecurity standards.
  • Support customers in meeting compliance requirements, including NIST SP 800‑171, CMMC, DFARS, and other DIB security requirements.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with SOC analysts, engineers, compliance, and MSP operations to deliver high‑quality security services.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and help enhance operational processes and automation.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers by delivering responsive, professional, and white‑glove support.
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or an MSP environment.
  • Deploy, configure, and support cybersecurity technologies across customer environments, including Microsoft security solutions, identity and access management (IAM), endpoint detection and response (EDR), email security, cloud security and backup, SIEM/SOAR, vulnerability management, data protection, and compliance platforms.
  • Familiarity with security monitoring, and incident response concepts.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and CMMC.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Security+, CySA+, Microsoft Security, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, or similar industry certifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, HaloPSA, or similar enterprise security platforms.
  • Experience supporting Azure, GCC, or GCC High environments.
  • Experience working within a managed services (MSP/MSSP) environment.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $95,000 (commensurate with experience).
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including generous PTO.
  • Flexible hybrid work schedule.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and training.
  • A collaborative and innovative company culture that values teamwork and continuous improvement.
