Job description

This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

About the Role

As Director, Loyalty, you will lead and drive customer engagement with the Kohl’s Loyalty program through compelling offers informed by Kohl’s value proposition.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop strategy and the overall perspective on what loyalty means to the Kohl’s customer and influence the program hierarchy to promote and reward customer behaviors

  • Establish the member growth modeling and member lifecycle strategy

  • Influence the creation of loyalty lifecycle moments, program benefits hierarchies and value propositions, including Kohl’s Card, MVC, Co-Brand Card, and Kohl’s Rewards program

  • Drive acquisition into Kohl’s Rewards and Kohl’s Card with range of marketing strategies

  • Drive all program promotion and marketing efforts, including management of program communication across marketing and digital touchpoints

  • Lead marketing strategy with integrated program perspective on messaging, placement, audience, and offer 

  • Lead testing strategy for Kohl’s Card and Kohl’s Rewards programs - including value proposition and marketing 

  • Ensure promised benefits are delivered to customers as required and work with Compliance/Capital One to resolve any risk events that occur

  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver loyalty offerings across all channels

  • Integrate the Loyalty program voice and brand expression within broader marketing

  • Lead and influence direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals in accordance with company policies and practices

  • Provide leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, thus affecting the results of the operating area

  • Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary

What Skills You Have

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 9+ years prior Marketing experience

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills

  • Strong communication, influencing and partnering skills

  • Innovative thinker with ability to synthesize data and blend with intuition and experience

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing business needs

  • Demonstrated success in Loyalty program strategy and execution

Preferred

  • Previous retail experience
