Duties
  • You will perform and report root cause analysis of internal/external audit deficiencies to identify process and/or system/ deviations/ deficiencies.
  • You will identify and implement corrective actions process changes, Accountable Property System of Record software modifications, personnel training to ensure strict compliance with programmatic requirements including documentation and reporting
  • You will be a subject matter expert in Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) and inventory management/oversight of government assets in direct support of supply chain management and performance.
  • You will analyze inventory demand, customer wait time, and associated costs ( e.g. inventory carrying and transportation) to optimize SBS inventory positioning.

Qualifications
GS-13 Your resume must demonstrate at least one years of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
  • Experience conducting direct liaison with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Navy Weapon System Support (NAVWSS) item managers, US Army Transportation Command (ARTRANS, formerly USTRANSCOM) and commercial vendors.
  • Experience ensuring shore-based spares remain fully identifiable, locatable, and ready-for-issue.
  • Experience maintaining and updating critical certifications, including American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and Coast Guard Inspection certificates, for senior review.
  • Experience coordinating the seamless availability and delivery of Planned Program Requirements (PPR).
  • Experience analyzing data to provide precise, forecasted material demands for fleet operations.
  • Experience communicating complex logistics issues both orally and in writing to diverse audiences.
  • Experience briefing ship management teams, including masters, chief engineers, and class managers.
  • Experience delivering high-level configuration and readiness presentations to senior government executives.
