In this role, you will utilize transportation industry and Blu Dot best practices to support the management of a network of third-party transportation providers. The scope will include several workstream capabilities including shipment booking, shipment tracking/tracing, carrier portal management and returns execution. Act as subject matter expert of final mile carrier network for other departments within Blu Dot.Oversee transportation data accuracy across carrier portals and internal systems to ensure shipment visibility and inventory integrity.Analyze routing performance and recommend changes to improve customer experience, service levels, and transportation costs.Review and approve freight invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and identify opportunities to improve freight spend.Proactively monitor carrier performance and resolve transportation issues that impact customer experience, service, or cost.Negotiate shipment rates and service directly with Blu Dot carriers.Serve as the primary point of contact for escalating carrier issues and work with internal teams and transportation partners to resolve complex problems.Manage movement of inventory returning from third party delivery providers to Blu Dot warehouse, including data validation to physical product, paperwork, booking, and track/trace.Lead regular business reviews with carrier partners to evaluate performance, address issues, and identify improvement opportunities.Participate in continuous improvement efforts by identifying process improvements, implementing solutions, and developing best practices for the logistics team. IDEAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS*:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experiencePosition requires professionalism and high attention to detailMust be able to multi-task and meet deadlinesHas the ability to collaborate with various teams and remains calm under pressureProficient with Microsoft OutlookKnowledge of Blu Dot products and processes a plus*These are 'nice to have' credentials, but we always welcome candidates with unique and diverse backgrounds.
