What does a director level position entail?

A Director-level position typically involves leading a department or a significant function within an organization. Directors are responsible for setting strategic goals, managing budgets, overseeing teams or managers, and ensuring that their area aligns with the company’s overall objectives. • Emergency Department
  • Labor & Delivery

Preferred relationships include:

  • Directors of Perioperative Services
  • Directors of Surgical Services
  • Emergency Department Directors
  • Labor & Delivery Directors
  • Sterile Processing Managers and Directors
  • Other hospital director-level decision-makers

This role is best suited for representatives who have relationships beyond physicians and can engage serviceline directors.

Target Markets

Sole Source Medical is especially interested in representatives with strong hospital relationships in:

  • California
  • Florida
  • Midwest markets
  • Texas, Focus areas Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio

Responsibilities

  • Leverage existing hospital relationships to introduce Sole Source Medical to qualified director-level contacts.
  • Secure meetings with key decision-makers in target hospital departments.
  • Facilitate warm introductions and help establish trust with prospective customers.
  • Attend introductory presentations when helpful, though attendance is not required.
  • Maintain a professional, low-profile approach to business development.
  • Support relationship continuity as needed after initial introduction.

What Sole Source Medical Provides

  • Proven service model with strong hospital adoption.
  • 80% conversion rate once a qualified director meeting is secured.
  • 97% customer retention rate.
  • Short, focused presentations, typically 20 minutes or less.
  • Ongoing commission opportunity tied to retained service business.
  • High earning potential due to recurring service-based revenue.

Compensation

This is a 100% commission-based 1099 independent contractor role.
