Who We Are

The Reassessment Campaign on Veterinary Resuscitation (RECOVER) Initiative is the global leader in evidence-based veterinary CPR education, training, and guidelines development. First launched in 2010, the RECOVER Initiative has 3 goals:

  • Research: Inform and support scientific research to improve our approach to CPR in animals.
  • Guidelines: Develop and update evidence- and consensus-based veterinary CPR guidelines through exhaustive review of the primary CPR literature.
  • Education: Provide the only standardized CPR training to veterinary professionals, first responders, pet professionals and pet owners offering CPR certification endorsed by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC) and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS).
Who You Are

The LMS Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the continued success, optimization, and effective utilization of our Learning Management System (LMS). This role serves as the technical lead for the ongoing system management and improvement, ensuring that all RECOVER programs are fully functional and that learners experience a seamless, engaging, and high-quality learning environment.

What You'll Do

System Optimization:

  • Continuously optimize and enhance the LMS to ensure longโ€‘term performance and stability.
  • Manage system upgrades, bug fixes, and improvements with the LMS vendor and thirdโ€‘party partners.
  • Ensure integrations, automations, and data syncs remain functional and secure.
  • Test and verify functionality following updates and configuration changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather user feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and new features to continually elevate the learning experience.
  • Expand RECOVER systems use beyond online courses to functionalities including ILT management.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to enhance LMS functionality, ensure data integrity, and maintain technical alignment.

Course and Content Maintenance:

  • Manage the publishing, updating, and retirement of courses, assessments, certificates, and other learning content and learning solutions.
  • Ensure all course materials, metadata, and completion logic remain current and accurate.
  • Coordinate with instructional designers and content creators to upload, test, and deploy new content.
  • Maintain upโ€‘toโ€‘date version control and documentation for all learning assets.
  • Oversee the renewal or expiration of certificates and ensure learnersโ€™ records are updated accordingly.

User Support and Training:

  • Provide responsive user support for administrators, instructors, and learners.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions, guides, and resources to enhance user proficiency.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for LMS processes and procedures.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all LMSโ€‘related functions.
  • Partner with the Customer Experience Team to ensure an optimal learner journey and cohesive support model.

Data Management and Analytics:

  • Manage user data, learning content, and system configurations within the LMS.
  • Generate and analyze reports to assess program effectiveness, learner progress, and engagement trends.
  • Provide insights to inform program development, compliance tracking, and continuous improvement efforts.
What You Bring
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient with Docebo LMS.
  • Proven experience in LMS administration and platform configuration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the technical implementation of LMS projects, including customization, testing, and launch support.
  • Strong technical proficiency in LMS configuration, user management, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with eโ€‘learning standards and technologies such as SCORM, xAPI, and related content packaging formats.
  • Proficient in authoring tools such as Articulate Rise and Storyline; knowledge of Instructional Design preferred.
  • Experience building, managing, and validating thirdโ€‘party integrations and automations, particularly with tools such as Docebo Connect, Airtable and Zapier.
  • Proficient in Stripe and eโ€‘commerce operations, payment processing workflows, and sales tax/VAT handling for online transactions.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external vendors.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system issues.
  • Solid project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.

What We Offer

Annual Salary: $75,000โ€“$85,000, based on qualifications and experience
