Programme Director, Cruise Business Development, Air & Sea

The Programme Director will promote Cruise product business development.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To promote Cruise business development
    • According to targets set by the Company in volume & Gross Profit
    • Via own account development and through country/network Sales.

Liaison with :

  • Sales Teams - to assist them in customer coverage and country Pipeline. 
  • Operations - in-country, to ensure full SOP/smooth handling of shipments.
  • Procurement - in-country & Regional, to ensure a relevant mix of equipment, space & rate is available.
  • To maintain clear reporting of monthly activities & accomplishments.
  • To lead & maintain a national Pipeline of Cruise accounts sufficient for Budget.
  • To become familiar with the Company's ISC solutions as another Sales channel.
  • To find suitable Cruise Exhibitions and Shows for attendance & client promotion.
  • To assist network offices to have a sellable Cruise customer product to reach scale.

 

Educational background / Work experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in transportation and logistics management in a related industry.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry trends, best practices, and regulations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.

Language skills

  • Fluent in English (oral and written)

 

Computer Literacy

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
