Job Description:
The Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive training and development strategy across the organization. This position will serve as the primary architect of learning initiatives, partnering with leadership to identify development opportunities, establish career progression frameworks, and create engaging learning experiences aligned with organizational goals.
This role is highly strategic during the first year, with a focus on assessment, design, and implementation. Over time, the position will evolve into building and leading a team that supports ongoing training delivery and program expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate existing onboarding, training, and development practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement learning programs that support employees at all organizational levels, from entry-level staff through senior leadership.
  • Develop structured career pathways, leadership development programs, internship initiatives, and onboarding frameworks.
  • Create customized learning experiences tailored to organizational culture and service standards.
  • Partner with department leaders to define competencies, performance expectations, and development milestones.
  • Research, select, and implement learning technologies and training platforms to support scalable development initiatives.
  • Establish measurement tools and performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and employee growth.
  • Lead future rollout efforts across multiple locations and support organizational adoption of training initiatives.
  • Assist in building a future learning and development team as programs mature and expand.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in training, learning & development, organizational development, or related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing and building training programs, curriculum, or development frameworks from the ground up.
  • Experience creating learning solutions for both frontline employees and leadership teams.
  • Strong program management skills with the ability to move initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS), training platforms, or e-learning tools.
  • Familiarity with SCORM content development and Paycom is a plus.
  • Background within hospitality, luxury service, customer experience, or other service-driven industries is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain automobile insurability.
