Job description

Position Summary

The Director will facilitate the representation of clients in the buying and selling of commercial properties, providing essential support in negotiations between buyers and sellers. This role involves acting as an intermediary to ensure successful transactions and optimal outcomes for all parties involved.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the growth and expansion of Berkadia's Investment Sales practice by aggressively originating, structuring, and closing transactions.
  • Promote the sale of commercial real estate through diverse marketing channels.
  • Prepare and provide necessary legal documentation to support transactions.
  • Build and nurture client relationships within the assigned region.
  • Collaborate with Mortgage Bankers to enhance business development and strengthen the Berkadia brand.
  • Accompany buyers on property tours, offering advice on property suitability and value.
  • Stay informed about commercial real estate and market trends by reviewing industry literature and attending conventions, seminars, and association meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Investment Sales Brokerage - Affordable Housing preferred.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under tight deadlines within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
