Job description

Position Overview: Under general supervision, this is a ministerial staff position responsible for assisting the Director of Connections and Groups in managing related ministries and operations.

Reports To: Director of Connections and Groups

Indirect Reports To: Campus Pastor

Prerequisites:

  • Record of consistent, high-level performance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective multi-tasking abilities
  • Proficient in MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook
  • Proficient in social media platforms

General Responsibilities:

  • Attend required staff meetings and planning sessions
  • Receive and make ministry contacts including phone calls, text messages, etc.
  • Manage personal workflow
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Maintain cooperative spirit assisting others when needed or requested
  • Communicate with leadership, peers, members, volunteers, and prospects as directed
  • Flexible work schedule, Sunday through Thursday and other times as required
  • Demonstrate stewardship of resources (supplies, equipment, intellectual property, etc.)
  • Understand and adhere to procedural guidelines and policies

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee office volunteers
  • Maintain environments in Welcome Area, Worship Center, Foyer & Groups area
  • Maintain network supplies for Connections (1st Connection, Baptism & Guest Packets)
  • Maintain and update website and social media
  • Maintain proper inventory of supplies and equipment for all teams
  • Maintain personal calendar for appointments, travel, meetings, etc.
  • Coordinates all departmental events (1st Connection, Group Connect, Team meetings)
  • Assist Director in these ministry areas and other as assigned:
    1. Connections – connecting and engaging guests and members in groups & teams
    2. First Impressions – identify, recruit, develop and lead teams
    3. First Connection – execute event, identify, recruit, train and lead teams
    4. Baptism – Coordinate baptisms & teams including individual and group events
    5. Nominating Committee – Coordinate nomination process and file audits
