We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead a people strategy that strengthens business performance and supports a positive workplace culture in New Windsor, New York. This role will guide the full scope of human resources operations while serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational planning, talent decisions, and workforce priorities. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and HR administration, along with the ability to build effective programs that support growth and long-term success.
Responsibilities:
• Shape and implement human resources strategies that align talent priorities with overall business goals.
• Direct day-to-day HR operations across hiring, onboarding, employee relations, performance processes, total rewards, and policy administration.
• Provide leadership with guidance on staffing plans, organizational structure, succession readiness, and broader talent initiatives.
• Maintain adherence to applicable employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Champion programs that strengthen employee engagement, improve retention, and support leadership development across the organization.
• Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to ensure responsive, high-quality support for employees and managers.
• Review and enhance HR policies, procedures, and systems to improve consistency, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
• Support organizational change initiatives related to growth, restructuring, and evolving business priorities.
• Track and interpret HR data to deliver actionable recommendations that inform leadership decisions.
• Collaborate with department leaders to address workforce needs and manage sensitive or complex employee matters.• Proven experience leading human resources functions at a senior level, preferably in an HR Director or comparable leadership role.
• Strong background in employee relations, HR administration, and compensation and benefits management.
• In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements across multiple regulatory areas.
• Demonstrated ability to advise senior leaders on workforce planning, organizational development, and talent strategy.
• Experience building and improving HR policies, programs, and operational processes.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring HR staff and driving team performance.
• Ability to analyze HR metrics and translate data into practical business recommendations.
