RiskOne HR Consulting is seeking a Human Resources Director responsible for centralizing HR policy, practices, and enforcement across the startup home office and subsidiary hospitals.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and enforce standardized HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures across all four hospitals and the corporate office
  • Serve as the final point of escalation for HR matters at each location, ensuring consistent application of policy regardless of site
  • Partner with hospital-level managers/supervisors to align local practices with company-wide standards
  • Support talent acquisition initiatives, recruiting for corporate and hospital roles
  • Develop and standardize hiring processes, interview practices, and onboarding across all locations
  • Manage performance management processes, disciplinary actions, and terminations in accordance with company policy and PR labor law
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and managers on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations
  • Oversee training and development programs across locations, including onboarding, compliance training, and leadership development
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with Puerto Rico labor law, federal employment law, and industry-specific regulatory requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PR-specific employment regulations and ensure all locations are audit-ready
  • Oversee workers' compensation, unemployment insurance, and related regulatory filings
  • Oversee compensation structure and benefits administration across the company
  • Partner with bookkeeping/finance on payroll-related compliance and reporting
  • Track and report HR metrics (turnover, time-to-hire, headcount) to leadership across all locations
