Position Overview:
Imagine being at the heart of our growth story, where your role as an HR Business Partner is crucial in shaping the next chapter of our success. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and a valued resource for employees, helping our local teams navigate the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly growing business through strong on-site HR partnership and visibility. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on support to foster a high-performing, engaged workforce while driving operational excellence, employee satisfaction, and business results.
Work Locations: This is an on-site role that does not have opportunity for remote or hybrid work.
Work Schedule: This site operates M-F and 1st and 2nd shifts for now... making it essential to have HR presence on-site for all shifts. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with rotating weeks' coverage for the 2nd shift. Additionally, Flexibility with work schedule for days and nights is required.
Compensation/Benefits: Attractive annual salary of $90,000-$100,000 plus bonus with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, professional development opportunities, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborates with operations leaders to align HR strategies with business goals and operational priorities. Partners with leadership to identify workforce trends, organizational opportunities, and challenges while recommending solutions that drive engagement, productivity, retention, and business performance.
  • Talent Management: Drives creative high-volume hourly and salaried talent acquisition, development, succession planning, and retention strategies. Partners with operations leaders to identify talent needs, create development plans, strengthen leadership pipelines, and enhance employee performance.
  • Leadership Coaching: Serves as a trusted coach and advisor to site leaders, providing guidance on employee management, leadership effectiveness, performance management, team development, and organizational challenges to build stronger leadership capabilities across the site.
  • Employee Relations: Acts as a trusted advisor in handling complex employee relations issues. Conducts thorough workplace investigations, implements and manages effective conflict resolution processes, and ensures a positive, respectful, and compliant work environment. Represents the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations as needed.
  • Performance Management: Oversees performance appraisal processes, develops performance improvement plans, and supports managers in setting and achieving performance goals. Creates and leads effective counseling and coaching opportunities with all levels of on-site staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Workforce Planning & Organizational Effectiveness: Partners with leaders to assess workforce needs, optimize organizational structure, and support staffing plans that align with business growth. Leads and supports change management initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Ensures company policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with federal, state, and local legal requirements. Provides guidance on HR policies and manages compliance with employment laws, wage and hour regulations, leave administration, workplace accommodations, and employee relations best practices.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilizes HRIS tools to analyze metrics and workforce data to drive decision-making and identify areas for improvement. Monitors trends in turnover, retention, recruiting, absenteeism, and engagement. Prepares and presents reports to senior management on HR trends, challenges, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Culture and Engagement: Champions initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing company culture at the site level. Leads efforts to enhance employee satisfaction, recognition, engagement, and retention through surveys, feedback mechanisms, employee programs, and targeted action plans.
  • Training & Development: Partners with leaders to identify training needs and coordinate development opportunities that enhance employee skills, leadership effectiveness, and overall organizational capability.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Supports initiatives that foster an inclusive workplace where all employees are respected, valued, and empowered to contribute their best work.
  • Safety First: Enforces and follows all company safety rules by following corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and brings noncompliance issues to operations leadership. Partners with leaders to reinforce a strong culture of safety and accountability.
  • Traveling: Requires traveling to cover and support two facilities (Elizabethtown, PA and Jacksonville, FL).

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma plus relevant work experience is required.
  • 5+ years of experience of on-site HR management or HR leadership, with a proven track record of successfully managing HR functions and HR team members.
  • Strong experience advising operations leaders on business practices and business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, local and state employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions to complex HR issues.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work a flexible on-site schedule and handle challenges that may arise after business hours.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish without the usage of translation services or technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • ADP Workforce HRIS experience.
