Job Summary

 

At Bozzuto’s, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a balanced strategic and tactical advisor to business leaders, implementing workforce and organizational strategies that align with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, leadership capability, and talent development. This role partners closely with leadership teams to build a high-performing culture through workforce planning, talent management, organizational design, change management, employee relations, and leadership development. The HRBP leverages data, insights, and collaboration with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Shared Services to deliver people solutions that support business performance and achieve key organizational goals.

This role is critical in helping the organization attract, develop, engage, and retain talent while ensuring the workforce, culture, and leadership capabilities necessary to achieve long-term business success. This HRBP shares accountability with business leaders for achieving key business outcomes related to productivity, retention, engagement, leadership effectiveness, workforce readiness, and organizational performance

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with business priorities and operational objectives.
  • Ensure organizational goals are aligned across leadership teams and support achievement of key business performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide thought leadership and consultation on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent strategies, and change management initiatives.
  • Identify talent gaps and develop workforce strategies to support current and future business needs.
  • Lead talent and succession planning efforts and ensure strong bench strength for critical roles.
  • Conduct talent reviews and facilitate performance and talent calibration discussions.
  • Drive development planning for high-potential employees and key talent.
  • Coach and support leaders on performance management, employee development, career progression, and retention strategies.
  • Guide leaders through annual performance and merit planning processes.
  • Collaborate with COE’s to deliver leadership onboarding, training, coaching, and development programs that strengthen leadership capability.
  • Develop and execute employee engagement strategies that improve morale, productivity, retention, and organizational culture.
  • Strengthen leadership effectiveness by fostering positive employee relations and effective working relationships.
  • Champion company values and culture across the business.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives by assessing organizational readiness, coaching leaders, and driving adoption of new processes, structures, and business strategies
  • Leverage workforce analytics, business data, and employee insights to identify trends and develop solutions that improve business outcomes.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and Shared Services to deliver integrated HR programs and services.
  • Participate in strategic projects and initiatives that improve organizational performance and employee experience.
  • Provide guidance and consultation on HR policies, employment practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns. 
  • Minimize organizational risk through proactive employee relations and sound HR practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • Standard business hours with flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on the business

  • Warehouse Office 65*F-  75*F

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Required: Seven (7) + years of progressive Human Resources experience, including business partnership responsibilities.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated expertise in talent management, workforce planning, organizational development, employee relations, and change management.
  • Preferred: Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategies to business outcomes.
  • Preferred: Experience utilizing HR metrics and analytics to drive decision-making.
  • Preferred: Excellent coaching, consulting, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Preferred: Ability to build trusted relationships and effectively partner with leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Preferred: Experience in Distribution & Manufacturing environments
  • Preferred: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with associates and leadership
