Job description

Client Overview:
Our client is a growing clinical research organization dedicated to advancing innovative therapies through both site-based and decentralized clinical trials. The organization partners with healthcare professionals, research teams, and sponsors to deliver high-quality clinical research while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and regulatory compliance. They are expanding their team and looking to add a Clinical Research Medical Director (Part-Time).
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$75/hr
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Clinical Research Medical Director (Part-Time) to support site-based and decentralized clinical trials within a collaborative research environment. This role will serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator, providing medical oversight, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining protocol compliance across multiple clinical studies.
Responsibilities of the Clinical Research Medical Director (Part-Time):
  • Serve as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator for clinical research studies.
  • Provide medical oversight for decentralized and site-based clinical trials.
  • Review study protocols and assess site feasibility for participation.
  • Support patient safety, data integrity, and protocol compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with Site Operations, Medical Affairs, and Research teams to support study execution.
Required Experience/Skills for the Clinical Research Medical Director (Part-Time):
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical documentation systems.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Clinical Research Medical Director (Part-Time):
  • Board Certification.
  • 1 - 3 years of clinical trials experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator.
  • Experience supporting decentralized clinical trials.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional clinical research teams.
  • Family Medicine or Internal Medicine background.
Education Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) is required.
