Job Summary:
Provident Credit Union is a top-ranking credit union in the US, established in 1950. They are seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer to enhance their public website and digital banking experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch new digital products and services.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Effectively prioritize incoming requests and communicate the status of ongoing projects
โ€ข Develop, maintain, and optimize frontend code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
โ€ข Maintain and enhance website content, templates, and components within our Content Management System (CMS)
โ€ข Support ongoing maintenance and enhancements of the Kentico CMS platform
โ€ข Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Digital Experience, Product, IT, Compliance) to implement new features, pages, and digital experiences
โ€ข Assist in the design, development, and launch of new products and services within online and mobile banking platforms
โ€ข Ensure all web and digital experiences are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance
โ€ข Follow secure coding standards and best practices to protect member data and comply with financial institution requirements
โ€ข Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues across browsers and devices
โ€ข Participate in testing, quality assurance, and release processes for digital updates
โ€ข Maintain documentation for frontend components, workflows, and CMS processes
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข BA degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Media, or a related field โ€” or equivalent professional experience
โ€ข Minimum of 3-5 yearsโ€™ professional experience in front-end web development (including CMS-driven websites)
โ€ข Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
โ€ข Experience working with a Content Management System in a production environment (Kentico preferred)
โ€ข Experience working with Visual Studio Code and Azure DevOps
โ€ข Solid understanding of responsive design, cross browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards
โ€ข Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and non-technical stakeholders
โ€ข Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, user-friendly experiences
โ€ข Experience supporting websites or applications in regulated or security-conscious environments
โ€ข Positive and clear communication style: Can articulate ideas and receive constructive feedback
โ€ข Ability to work collaboratively and independently to meet deadlines, tracking work in project management systems
Preferred:
โ€ข Prior experience with Kentico CMS and Fiserv Architect / Create Digital is highly preferred.
โ€ข Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
