Warranty Administrator - Riverton Acura
Location: Riverton Acura - Murray, UT Department: Service / Fixed Operations Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, Standard Business Hours
About the Role
Riverton Acura is seeking an experienced Warranty Administrator to manage the submission, tracking, and reconciliation of all factory and extended warranty claims. This is a critical fixed operations role that requires precision, strong knowledge of manufacturer warranty guidelines, and the ability to work closely with technicians, service advisors, and factory representatives to ensure timely and accurate claim processing.
Responsibilities
  • Process, submit, and track all Acura (or Honda) factory warranty claims accurately and within manufacturer deadlines
  • Review repair orders for warranty compliance, proper documentation, and correct coding prior to submission
  • Follow up on rejected, debited, or pending claims and resubmit as needed
  • Maintain organized records of all warranty transactions, parts returns, and chargebacks
  • Communicate with the factory (AHM) representatives regarding claim status, policy adjustments, and audits
  • Partner with the Service Manager and Fixed Operations Director to monitor warranty labor and parts recovery
  • Assist with internal warranty audits and ensure dealership compliance with manufacturer standards
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Acura/Honda warranty policies, bulletins, and procedural changes
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in warranty administration with Honda or Acura specifically
  • Strong understanding of factory warranty submission systems and manufacturer claim guidelines
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational/documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with service advisors, technicians, and factory representatives
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and standard office software
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict claim submission deadlines
