As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk in Seaford, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $17.34 / Hour

How This Role Works:
  • Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
  • Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government office location.
  • Monitor the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
  • Answer phones, provide general information and directions, receive deliveries, and support front-desk operations while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
  • Observe and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
