Job description

Purpose of Role
The purpose of this role is to manage and perform maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of all Rehrig Pacific's Direct-to-Store Delivery (DSD) and Supply Chain Technology Offerings, including but not limited to: The Vision Object Recognition (VOR) Ecosystem, Rehrig Pacific Material Handling Solutions as well as Kenosha Plant Material Handling Equipment as needed. This role will be primarily customer facing and some work cross-functionally with Rehrig Pacific's Quality, Procurement and New Product Development teams. ?
Areas of Accountabilities
Onsite Customer Support
� Perform assigned equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs as needed.
� Support customer fleet check-ins as assigned.
� Support warranty service requests.
� Provide a high level of courteous and professional customer service.
� Support Technology Team with VOR (Visual Object Recognition) installations as needed.
� Support the greater Implementation & Service Team on projects
o Projects include but are not limited to equipment retrofit or replacement campaigns.
Cross Functional Support
� Process any paperwork post service completion to support billed or warranty related work.
� Maintain safety stock inventory of spare parts in company vehicle and at Kenosha Plant. Work with purchasing
to replenish as needed.
� Provide customer feedback to manager to support product and installation improvement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
� Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience, preferably in Engineering or mechanical related fields
� Minimum of 5 years Material Handling Field Service Technician experience preferred
� Must have working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic schematics
� Strong technical aptitude of mechanical and electrical systems
� Must possess Excellent Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
� Ability to quickly adapt and learn all Rehrig's new and existing products with ease and professionalism?
� Ability to work independently and autonomously in a fast-moving environment
� Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
� Ability to hold yourself and others accountable to meet commitments
� Position will require a minimum of 70% travel via driving. (Company vehicle provided)
� Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
