POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Health Screening Field Operations plays a key role in optimizing scaled, nationwide mobile field operations through leadership backed by strong systems, policies, and safety-first processes. This leader is metric-driven and analytics-focused, leveraging Power BI, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement to solve complex operational challenges while supporting growth, efficiency and scalability. With demonstrated P&L exposure and experience building teams in growth-stage companies, this leader combines strong process discipline, proven matrix leadership, and an unflappable, accountable style that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate is a metrics driven strategic and operational leader with a passion for driving performance, achieving results, optimizing field operations, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of field execution—from workforce planning, forecasting, staffing and team engagement to service quality and operational efficiency—ensuring our health screening quality and quantity consistently exceed expectations while fostering strong team leadership, active coaching, and high levels of engagement that drive sustained performance.

Success in this role requires a proven ability to build and lead remote teams at scale, foster a culture of self-accountability and continuous improvement, and build strong cross-functional partnerships. The most successful individuals will be data driven, curious, bold, and both solution and action oriented. The Director will work closely with business leaders across the organization to align field operations with broader company goals, support growth initiatives, and champion a service-first mindset that benefits our members, our clients, and our team.

This Leader will work with the Vice President of Health Screening Services and Manager of Field Operations to manage the team while creating a culture that respects the individual, achieves results, and supports long-term success for VuePoint Diagnostics. This individual will also work closely with the Director of Contact Center Operations to ensure a positive and coordinated colleague experience, and a best-in-class end to end experience for the members we serve from initial outreach through to exam completion.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and align operational strategies with Health Screening Services objectives, translating enterprise strategy into executable field operating plans that drive growth, quality, colleague engagement and member satisfaction.
  • Lead and oversee nationwide mobile health screening operations, ensuring consistent execution of daily field activities, optimized scheduling, reliable appointment completion, and a high-quality member experience across all markets.
  • Refine, implement, and continuously improve systems of the field, including standardized workflows, operating models, escalation paths, and governance structures that enable consistency, efficiency, and scale across a geographically dispersed workforce.
  • Enforce comprehensive policies and procedures that support regulatory compliance, operational clarity, colleague accountability, and best-in-class field execution.
  • Champion field safety by proactively identifying operational and environmental risks, implementing preventive controls, and fostering a culture of safety awareness and responsibility within mobile healthcare operations.
  • Build and maintain a metric-driven operating model, defining clear KPIs and success measures to monitor service levels, productivity, quality, and colleague performance
  • Monitor and evaluate operational performance indicators by establishing and maintaining key metrics to achieve defined results, proactively identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions to improve service levels, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the department and lead direct reports, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of Field Technicians and alignment to business targets.
  • Leverage analytics, data design, and Power BI reporting to deliver actionable insights, support forecasting and staffing decisions, uncover root causes of performance gaps, and guide continuous operational improvement.
  • Champion process design and optimization efforts to reduce variability, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve throughput while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
  • Continually evaluate performance with scalability in mind, ensuring processes, tools, staffing models, and leadership structures can support rapid growth, market expansion, and evolving client needs.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to apply P&L experience, supporting budgeting, forecasting, expense management, cost-efficiency initiatives, and profitability across field operations.
  • Serve as a hands-on analytics-driven problem solver, applying strong critical thinking to diagnose complex operational challenges and implement practical, data-informed solutions.
  • Operate effectively within a matrixed organizational structure, collaborating with cross-functional partners in clinical, contact center, technology, people, and business development teams to deliver aligned outcomes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and field leaders, fostering engagement, resilience, and readiness while supporting succession planning, cross-training, and elimination of single points of failure.
  • Translate strategic direction from executive leadership into clear, actionable guidance for managers and frontline teams, demonstrating strong follow-through and adaptability as priorities shift.
  • Maintain an unflappable leadership presence in fast-paced, high-change environments, providing clarity, stability, and decisive leadership during periods of growth, complexity, or operational disruption.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Demonstrated experience leading remote, geographically distributed field teams within startup or growth-stage organizations, requiring adaptability, ownership, and rapid scale.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in operations, field leadership, or service delivery, with success building structure in evolving environments.
  • Experience in delivering home-based care, preventive healthcare services or population health
  • Proven success operating in startup or high-growth environments, with the ability to build and scale processes, programs, and operational infrastructure from the ground up in environments where structure is still evolving. Proven ability to design and scale field systems, policies, and processes that support safety, compliance, accountability, and growth.
  • P&L exposure, with a drive to increase profitability without compromising service and customer outcomes Deep experience with KPIs, data-driven decision-making, and performance reporting, translating metrics into clear insights and action.
  • Proficient in Power BI and analytics tools, using dashboards and data design to monitor performance and solve complex operational problems.
  • Demonstrated success leading and coaching managers and frontline staff in a remote environment, building engagement, capability, and accountability at scale.
  • Effective leader in matrixed environments, with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage, align, and influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on problem solver with strong critical thinking, high pivotability, and an unflappable leadership presence in fast-paced settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; healthcare, operations, or business background preferred.
