Epic Cogito Analyst
Remote Role
This is a Remote role.
Compensation: $73 - $85 per hour
Engagement: 6-month contract
Start Date: ASAP
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an experienced Epic Cogito Analyst for a 6-month remote contract to provide operational support during a cloud migration for a Southeast-based Epic client. While the internal team will handle most of the primary build, this consultant will focus on day-to-day operations, report development, and ticket resolution. The analyst will play a key role in supporting ongoing reporting needs, developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and operational metrics, and ensuring smooth reporting operations as the organization transitions to the cloud. This is an opportunity to work independently in a fully remote environment, collaborating with internal teams and making a direct impact on operational reporting during a critical migration period.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Resolve day-to-day Epic Cogito support tickets and reporting requests
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and operational metrics across Epic applications
  • Support SlicerDicer reporting, including FDS record build and configuration
  • Write and troubleshoot SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reporting
  • Assist with ongoing reporting operations while internal analysts focus on go-live build activities
  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and coordinate resolutions with application teams
  • Maintain clear documentation of report logic, configurations, and completed work
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Current Epic Cogito certification
  • Strong hands-on SQL development experience
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics within Epic
  • Experience supporting reporting needs across multiple Epic applications
  • Hands-on experience with SlicerDicer and FDS record build
  • Strong ticket-resolution, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • Epic Clarity certification (preferred)
  • Epic Caboodle certification (preferred)
  • Experience supporting a health system during implementation or go-live preparation (preferred)
  • Prior experience serving as operational backfill for an Epic reporting team (preferred)
