Job description

Position Overview:
Elevator Apprentice assist the Elevator Technicians as directed on all job functions related to the service of all types of elevators, VRCs, and Rack and Pinions. Elevator Apprentices may be required to work independently and/or supervise others during specific tasks on a job as directed by the Elevator Technician based on demonstrated abilities. Elevator Apprentices are expected to follow all safety guidelines of HCSG and of the work site and always use safe work practices. Ideal candidates will have basic electrical experience and be able to work at high elevations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Onsite representation of the company in an expert and professional manner.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical/Structural /Application/Estimation.
  • Demonstrate the desire to make decisions in the best interest of company.
  • Demonstrate the desire to work as a team member at any level required to complete job.
  • Assist the company in maintaining proper appearance, conduct, productivity.
  • Acquire and maintain tooling needed to perform previous listed technical requirements in a superlative manner.
  • Demonstrate the desire to work in a safety and healthy manner.
