Overview

Red Coats, Inc. currently has an opening for a Janitorial Account Manager in Broward County. This position is responsible for managing the day to day operations that facilitate the maximization of resources of janitorial cleaning services. This position will build trust, collaborate with others, communicate effectively, drive execution and foster innovation.

Qualified candidates must have 3-5 years of direct on-site management with janitorial services in Class A commercial office buildings.  Customer service experience with a proven track record of success is a must.

Responsibilities

Operations

  • Manage assigned account/s
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Conduct physical inspections on an ongoing basis for account ensuring each tenant is visited as needed and a report is submitted
  • Be aware of contract deliverables and work with supervisors to ensure compliance
  • Establish productive and consistent customer contacts and maintain records of contacts with customer, return all customer calls ASAP
  • Rapidly respond to and assist in addressing customer issues, ensure to document these issues and resolutions and review with the supervisor where applicable
  • Oversees process improvements and change management of site arrangements when needed
  • Projects a favorable image of the company to promote its aims and objectives
  • Performs all necessary supervisory functions to effectively and efficiently manage the personnel assigned
  • Maintain standards of appearance and performance of cleaning staff assigned to account
  • Ensure proper training of personnel assigned
  • Foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate conductive to maximize employee morale and productivity
  • Assist and support site supervisors
  • Develop individuals for future advancement
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested

Financial Management

  • May assist with accounts receivable and provide support in collections if/when directed
  • Assist in control of Cost of sales, direct labor, overtime, non-billed labor, vacation/time off, uniform, supply & equipment expense
  • Identify needs for wage and billing increases
  • Set up master schedules and approve timesheets through company timekeeping software

Sales and Growth activity

  • Be aware of potential to sell additional services to tenants and growth potential in your account and communicate it with the Regional Manager or Branch Manager
  • Keep abreast of pertinent competitor information
Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a MUST
  • Must be able to pass a background and driver license screening
  • Must have customer service experience
  • Must be able to provide impeccable follow-up with client, tenants and employees alike
  • Must have 3-5 years of direct on-site management with janitorial services in Class A commercial office buildings
  • Must have above average knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point) and computer software
  • Must be proactive with problem solving skills as candidate must be able to make timely decision and adapt to change
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and data entry skills
  • Basic financial understanding
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and details
  • High quality standards and strong leadership skills
  • People skills, strong communications, persuasive demeanor, effective delegator and developer of leaders
  • Ability to function in fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task
