What is a director DSP?

A Director DSP (Demand-Side Platform) is a high-level executive responsible for overseeing and optimizing programmatic advertising campaigns through DSP technology. They lead teams that manage digital ad buying, data analysis, and strategy development to ensure clients' ads reach the right audiences efficiently. Directors in this role often collaborate with sales, marketing, and data teams to maximize ROI, implement best practices, and stay ahead of digital advertising trends. To thrive as a Director of DSP, you need deep expertise in programmatic advertising, digital marketing strategy, and a strong analytical background, often supported by a relevant degree and years of industry experience. Familiarity with major DSP platforms (such as The Trade Desk, MediaMath), data analytics tools, and ad tech certifications are typically required. Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills set top performers apart in this role. These competencies are vital to effectively drive campaign performance, manage teams, and stay competitive in the fast-evolving digital advertising landscape.

Job description

Why Join Rincon Research Corporation (RRC)?

At Rincon Research Corporation, our primary business is innovating, developing, and fielding digital signal processing (DSP) products and services for the United States Defense and Intelligence Communities in support of national security.

Rincon Research Corporation (RRC), an employee owned company, is seeking a talented, tenacious, results-driven individual to work in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment with similarly motivated electrical engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, and analysts who are collectively responsible for creating custom digital signal processing solutions and leveraging them to make an operational mission impact.

Come join the team that is creating cutting edge signal processing and geolocation systems for the future!

What are the primary responsibilities in the Jr. DSP/Communications Engineer position?

Core responsibilities include designing and implementing digital signal processing systems for communication signals, radar signals, and other applications. This includes developing, deploying, maintaining, and testing software-based solutions. System development can include algorithm design, data analysis, hardware control, computational optimization, RF system modeling, field testing, error budget analysis, operational performance analysis, writing efficient software, testing with real data, and providing applications to front-line customer facilities. A key responsibility is staying up-to-date with the signal processing technologies, tools, and methodologies and experimenting with new technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into RRC projects. RRC personnel can expect to work across all functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration and test, deployment and O&M, and experience the direct mission feedback from the customer and seeing your project provide real-world contributions that make a significant difference. You're encouraged and expected to propose things that you believe will improve the applications and frameworks you're working in. The ability to work unsupervised with minimal direction and the ability to self-start is a must.

  • DevOps and Cloud computing Experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PІР)
  • Current TS/SCI clearance

  • This position is located at our Chantilly, VA office.

*The likely salary range for this position is $98,000 to $110,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
