Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
  • Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
  • Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community outings, and activities
  • Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed
  • Promote client independence, dignity, and community inclusion
  • Communicate effectively with family members, supervisors, and care team members
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
