POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Marketing Manager, Digital Products and Professional Learning is responsible for spearheading marketing efforts to drive revenue for ASCD and ISTE's digital platforms and Professional Learning Product Portfolio. This role demands a solid blend of marketing skills and experience, including product marketing, lead generation and demand generation, go-to-market strategies, content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, as well as marketing analytics. Experience with software-as-a-service is highly preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with the Senior Director, Product Marketing on the development of the overall marketing strategy for professional development products and services.
  • Plan and implement creative, go-to-market strategies and integrated marketing plans across various channels.
  • Collaborate closely with digital marketing counterparts to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with Sales leaders to develop training programs and customer-facing sales materials.
  • Conduct market analysis for professional learning products and services.
  • Create upsell and cross-sell opportunities in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyze and report on marketing activities, campaign effectiveness, and customer engagement to refine strategies and tactics.
  • Optimize product positioning for different market segments based on web analytics and customer feedback.
  • Draft key messaging to strategically position and promote the Professional Development Product portfolio.
  • Assist in staffing ISTE+ASCD exhibit booths at conferences, promoting products and engaging with customers.


Salary: $90,000-$95,000
PRIORITY WILL BE PROVIDED TO CANDIDATES LIVING INTHE DC METRO AREA (MD, DC, or Northern VA);you will beREQUIRED to come into the Arlington, VA office one day per week.

Knowledge

  • A four-year college degree in marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of product marketing, advertising, communications, direct mail, digital marketing, and marketing metrics. Familiarity with database marketing is useful.
  • Required background in the education field and strong preference for experience in the K-12 EdTech market.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Well versed in using Microsoft Office tools, internet browsers, and web-based office applications for collaboration and project management.
  • Ability to analyze campaign data and use it to inform strategy.

Experience

  • 7 or more years of relevant work experience in creating and measuring product marketing campaigns, developing promotional materials, and content marketing.
