Hut 8

Full-time

Re-posted 7 days ago

Job description

ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Digital Delivery Director is the strategic owner of how Hut 8 creates, coordinates, and governs digital project data across its growing portfolio of data center and energy infrastructure programs. This role goes beyond traditional BIM management - it encompasses the full digital delivery lifecycle, from model creation and clash coordination through asset naming governance, CMMS planning, and digital twin strategy. Operating at the intersection of construction technology and operational readiness, the Digital Delivery Director ensures that every digital artifact produced during design and construction is accurate, standards-compliant, and structured to serve the organization long after project handover.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and enforce Hut 8's BIM Execution Plan (BEP), establishing enterprise-wide standards for model creation, file structures, naming conventions, and data interoperability across all active and future projects
Own the configuration and governance of Autodesk Construction Cloud - managing user permissions, submittal workflows, model publishing protocols, and issue tracking to ensure a disciplined, auditable digital environment
Build and maintain Hut 8's digital delivery framework, defining how project data is created, coordinated, reviewed, and handed over across internal teams and external partners including EPC contractors and design consultants
Lead clash detection and model coordination efforts, identifying and resolving spatial conflicts across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines before they impact field execution
Drive CMMS planning and asset data integration strategies, ensuring that digital models and asset naming conventions are structured to transition seamlessly from construction tools to operational maintenance systems at project handover
Align document and asset naming standards across all digital delivery platforms in coordination with the Document Control function, enforcing consistency across SharePoint, ACC, and downstream systems
Evaluate and integrate emerging digital delivery technologies - including digital twins, CFD
modeling, reality capture, and AI-assisted coordination tools - recommending strategic adoptions that advance Hut 8's competitive position
Deliver tailored training programs to internal stakeholders and external partners, building organizational fluency in BIM tools, ACC workflows, and digital delivery standards
Conduct regular audits and quality assurance reviews of BIM models and datasets to maintain accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project and enterprise standards
And other duties as assigned

ABOUT YOU

To thrive in this role, you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
4+ years of experience in BIM management, digital delivery, or project controls within industrial, energy, or data center sectors
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud, including workflow customization, permissions management, submittal processes, and model coordination
Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, or comparable BIM and model coordination platforms
Familiarity with CMMS platforms and how asset data structures translate from design and construction environments into operational maintenance systems
Understanding of ISO 19650 principles and their practical application in project data management and digital delivery governance
Experience developing and enforcing BIM Execution Plans across multi-disciplinary project teams, including coordination with external EPC partners
Exposure to digital twin development, CFD modeling, or reality capture technologies is a strong plus
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvement, comfortable operating across both strategic planning and hands-on technical execution
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex digital delivery concepts into clear standards and training materials for diverse audiences
