Job description

The Senior Manager, Business Process Design & Improvement - Finance is a critical leadership position that oversees the delivery and support for organizational process excellence. This position reports directly to Director- Business Process Design & Improvement, Record to Report and serves as a business enablement partner by engaging with business leaders within the company to anticipate organizational needs and drive strong decision making through implementation of process improvements/best practices, continuous improvement, metrics, AI, and end-to-end process governance.
This position will be responsible for leading and elevating finance analysis capabilities across the organization. The scope of the role includes strengthening core financial analysis, identifying and developing new analysis to surface actionable insights, and improving the accuracy and clarity of financial storytelling for finance stakeholders. This position will focus on advancing analytical rigor across planning, performance reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, and decision support, while driving standardization and continuous improvement across data, reporting, and financial processes. This role will also support key strategic initiatives and build a culture of continuous improvement in the finance organization. In addition, the position will help meet strategic goals by developing analytical approaches, driving priorities, collaborating cross-functionally, and aligning resources to deliver high-quality, insight-driven finance support.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, continuous process improvement, change management, governance, and communication experience in a global organization, with a track record leading a high performing team and implementing best practices. Candidates should have a strong understanding of typical Finance functions and responsibilities including long range planning, forecasting, scenario analysis and decision support. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record working with large data sets and complex problem-solving capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Process Excellence:
  • Direct day-to-day activities of the Enterprise Planning and Finance functions.
  • Responsible for identifying best practices, efficiencies, and strategic methods to optimize people, process, and technology solutions across the Enterprise Planning and Finance functions.
  • Provide thought leadership in the AI and technology space to identify opportunities, shape strategy, and drive innovation across the Enterprise Planning and Finance functions.
  • Build a metrics and performance management strategy and culture, driving measurable business results
  • Design and embed an approach to ongoing continuous process improvement, including an end-to-end process assessment strategy, as well as tactical resource and implementation planning and delivery approach
  • Accountable for all process standards and value realization across the company: data, reporting, systems security, compliance, financial controls, change management and process excellence
  • Owns prioritization and decision making for process standards and improvement initiatives

Leadership & Organizational Development:
  • Lead a team of 1 Continuous Process Improvement Senior Analyst to support Enterprise Planning and Finance process excellence activities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to drive governance and business partner relationships, including shared objectives for end-to-end process solutions
  • Develop and implement goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to all aspects of the group, in partnership with Finance operations.
  • Responsible for tracking and meeting those goals and ensuring adherence to those policies and procedures
  • Establishes standards, tools, and methodologies for process excellence across Enterprise Planning and Finance
  • Accountable for capability development, succession planning, and maturity of continuous improvement practices within the function
  • Identify, govern, prioritize, and adjudicate technology enhancements, partnering with Technology to build and support the deployment of ongoing roadmap of solutions
  • Works with internal and external auditors annually and/or as needed based on their requests for information

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance and/or Accounting with 8+ years of accounting or finance experience. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 6+ years or a Ph.D. with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced Degree and/or CPA a plus.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate at the highest levels of corporate management
  • Experience with continuous improvement and project management - Six Sigma Green Belt and/or PMP a plus
  • Experience supporting organizational change - including large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service
  • Demonstrated financial analysis strength
  • Experience within a CoE environment a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication is mandatory

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, shift priorities quickly as required, and rapidly adapt to changing environments
  • Ability to understand business strategy and translate into effective tactical plans
  • Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work with minimal direction, as well as be resourceful and independent in solving problems
  • Strong computer skills and proficient use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials

USD 122,600.00 - 204,400.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $122,600.00 - $204,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
