Director, Quality & Food Safety

Dairy & Beverage Manufacturing | Harrisonburg, VA area |

$150,000–$200,000 base + 23% bonus + LTI eligible + full benefits + full relocation covered

Our client, a global food & beverage manufacturer is hiring a Director of Quality & Food Safety to lead one of the largest single-site plants in their U.S. network: 700+ employees, 14 production lines, dairy & aseptic beverage production.

The Role

  • Own Quality & Food Safety strategy, compliance, and food safety culture for a flagship, high-volume plant
  • Lead a team of 40 spanning quality, compliance, lab, and sanitation functions
  • Report directly to the Sr. Plant Director; high visibility with senior operations and corporate quality leadership

    What You Bring

  • 10+ years of Quality leadership in food or beverage manufacturing
  • Currently operating at Director level (single-site) not a first-time director
  • Dairy or beverage manufacturing experience required
  • Aseptic processing experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
  • A track record of staying and growing with employers, not moving every 2 years
  • Comfortable leading in a unionized manufacturing environment
