Job Description SummaryThe Senior Director - Secure Network Services is a senior leader within the Cyber Services organization, reporting to the Executive - Cyber Services and partnering closely with peers leading Secure Development, Secure Endpoint & Collaboration, and Application & Cloud Security. This role is accountable for how secure connectivity services are architected, delivered, and operated across the enterprise, with a strong focus on OT, export-controlled environments, Zero Trust, and site connectivity.Job Description

You will lead a global team providing endtoend Secure Network Services, including enterprise firewalls, network segmentation, OT and site connectivity controls, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) for users. Your work directly impacts the security, reliability, and productivity of GE Aerospace's global manufacturing, engineering, and office operations.

What You'll Do

Own Secure Network Services to the Enterprise

  • Define and manage the Secure Network Services strategy, service catalog, SLAs, and KPIs, ensuring services are reliable, effective, and aligned to business, OT, and regulatory/export control needs.

  • Execute service roadmaps that bring consistency, Zero Trust-based patterns, and scalability to secure connectivity across sites, cloud edges, and remote access.

  • Partner with the Executive - Cyber Services to align Secure Network Services with the overall Cyber Services strategy and portfolio.

Lead Secure Site Connectivity (OT, Export Control Vaults, Site Perimeters)

  • Own secure connectivity services for OT/ICS environments, Export Control Vaults, and site perimeters, including perimeter firewalls, internal segmentation, and inter-site connectivity.

  • Define and maintain standard zoning and segmentation patterns that reduce lateral movement and protect critical manufacturing and engineering assets.

  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and plant leadership to ensure connectivity designs balance safety, reliability, regulatory/export obligations, and cyber risk.

  • Lead secure connectivity design for new sites, major expansions, and OT modernization programs.

Deliver Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) User Connectivity

  • Own the ZTNA service that provides secure, user-centric access for on-site, remote, and third-party users, guiding the transition from traditional VPN to Zero Trust access patterns.

  • Integrate ZTNA with identity, device posture, and application access policies to enforce least privilege and strong authentication.

  • Partner with infrastructure, collaboration, and application teams to improve user experience while maintaining strong network security controls.

Operate and Improve Secure Network Services

  • Establish robust processes for service health, incident response handoffs, and change management for Secure Network Services.

  • Own key service and risk metrics (availability, performance, security events, policy change quality) for secure connectivity, driving continuous improvement using lean/FLIGHT DECK principles.

  • Partner with the SOC and incident response teams to ensure strong monitoring, logging, and response for network security events (firewalls, ZTNA, segmentation breaches, etc.).

  • Drive automation and standardization in firewall policy management, configuration, and deployment to reduce risk and improve speed.

Lead and Develop the Secure Network Team

  • Lead direct reports and a global team of ~11 network security specialists and engineers.

  • Build a high-performing, diverse team and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Mentor managers and senior engineers, growing technical depth in OT networking, Zero Trust, and export-controlled connectivity.

  • Collaborate with peers in Secure Development, Secure Endpoint & Collaboration, and Application & Cloud Security to deliver integrated Cyber Services.

This role will also require in-person attendance for New Hire Orientation on Day 1

Minimum Qualifications for US and India Candidates only:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 15 years of professional experience

  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Cyber Operations, Network Security Engineering, or Security Service Delivery in large, complex organizations.

  • 5+ years as a People Leader, including leadership of multi-location or global teams of senior professionals/managers.

  • Proven experience owning and operating secure network services at enterprise scale (firewalls, segmentation, remote access/Zero Trust).

  • Experience with OT/ICS networking and/or connectivity for export-controlled or other regulated environments.

Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

  • Significant experience in Cyber Operations, Network Security Engineering, or Security Service Delivery in large, complex organizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in network security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN/SD-WAN, ZTNA, SASE, and network segmentation.

  • Experience defining and operating service catalogs, SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs for network or cyber services at enterprise scale.

  • Background in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other highly regulated, mission-critical industries.

  • Proven track record standardizing and modernizing secure connectivity services globally (e.g., VPN to ZTNA, onprem to hybrid/cloud connectivity, OT segmentation programs).

  • Strong business and financial acumen, including budget management and investment tradeoffs for network security platforms and services.

  • Strong executive presence, with excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence senior stakeholders on connectivity risk and service strategy.

Additional Information for US:

The base pay range for this position is $176,000 - $235,000 annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.This posting is expected to close on October 9th, 2026.
