Cardigan Ridge, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Culinary Director to join our growing team!
At Cardigan Ridge Senior Living, we're redefining senior living in Little Canada, MN. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Join our team today!
Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday AMs and Manager On Duty Weekend Rotation
Salary: $58,000-$74,000 annually
Are you compassionate towards others? Are you passionate about enriching the lives of others? If so, we want you to join our team and help seniors Age Magnificently! Our Director of Culinary becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community.
In this position you are responsible for meeting high standards in the areas of meal preparation, communication, record keeping, and effectively working with employees, residents, and their families to ensure high quality and nutritional dietary services. Duties include but not limited to:
  • Manage inventory and ordering of food and culinary supplies, including reviewing and adhering to departmental budget.
  • Hire, train and supervise culinary employees.
  • Maintains positive relationships with key stakeholders such as residents, their families, staff, and the community.
  • Participate in facility leadership meetings, Interdisciplinary Team meetings, Quality Assurance/Improvement, Care Conferences, and other facility meetings as required.
  • Interview residents and families to ensure nutritional needs are met.
  • Nutritional monitoring of residents through assessments, progress notes and dietary care planning.
  • Process and review diet orders to ensure compliance with physician orders.
  • Must be adaptable, flexible to changes, and able to prioritize and organize work efficiently to accomplish workload within time allotted.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must have a current ServSafe Certification.
  • A minimum of one year experience in dietary field is preferred.
  • Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families and employees.
  • Must have proficient knowledge of computer systems, including email use.
